Over his 20 plus years of practicing law in Michigan, Hugh has developed an ability of truly getting to know his clients and understanding their needs to provide the best advice. At The Cronin Law Firm, Hugh focuses on estate planning, corporate and business dealings, family law, real estate, contract drafting, and negotiations. It has always fascinated Hugh how these areas of law tend to intermingle and how a client may be facing matters in each simultaneously.
Hugh graduated from Wayne State University and Michigan State Law with a background in accounting and finance. Hugh’s work experience encompasses working on-site at one of Detroit’s major automobile manufacturers, in small and large firms, as well as Chief General Counsel and Director of Finance for a conglomerate of privately held corporations. He has also been involved in tactical training for law enforcement, as the CFO and In-House Counsel for a tactical training facility in Michigan and participated in numerous shooting competitions alongside some of Michigan’s finest first responders. Hugh has handled Federal matters across the U.S. as well as cases throughout Michigan. He also has international experience with dealings in the EU and Canada and been involved in negotiating and drafting many international contracts and settling foreign estates.
